About us
Foptec is the company behind Foptec Recipe Explorer, one of the market’s leading IT solutions for food-producing companies. Foptec Recipe Explorer is currently used by more than 100 companies in countries all over the world. The program offers complete support for managing ingredients, recipes, ingredient lists, nutritional declarations, product sheets, production planning, and price calculations. The program is used by ingredient suppliers and ready-meal suppliers in several sub-industries such as meat and charcuterie, fish and seafood, aroma and spices, dairy, ice cream, bakery, and confectionery.
Foptec was founded in 2007 and is currently co-owned by Lexit Group AS. Lexit Group AS has its headquarters in Kløfta, just outside Oslo. Lexit’s production department for labels, as well as the sales and technical departments, are located in Mölnlycke outside Gothenburg, where Foptec also has its headquarters.
